First Wanted

He turned his binoculars, there is more, for sure, 200 meters to the right, this second one, in the middle of the target. The clashes continued for three hours, darkness fell,

– Mustafa’s voice behind him, Ruslan, we must withdraw now.

-What about our comrades?

– Everyone who is left withdrew to the safe houses. Come on,

– He picked up his sniper and walked behind his friend outside the building. The path of withdrawal was already secured. Some of them are still scattered in the back streets to secure them.

For a whole year after that, the name of the sniper of Mesopotamia, became the number one American wanted in Iraq.

He shoots only one soldier, then withdraws from his position, leaving behind one blank bullet. No one knew him, except for a few from his narrow surroundings.

“You must be protected, Ruslan. It won’t be long before they discover who you are”, an idea that Raman presented to the leader of the group and he accepted it, and so did Ruslan.

Let’s give the whole story to another militant group, one of the groups was chosen, that they are with us, they won’t betray us, let them announce that the sniper of Mesopotamia is in their ranks, provide them with tapes and recordings of the operations, and let the US military look away.

This is what actually happened. The group releases and films, titled Sniper of Mesopotamia, began to spread like wildfire. The media has magic, which Raman knows well.

For two years after that, he killed more enemies than anyone else, except that something new happened.

The Takfiri array, the most extreme among all Islamic organizations, decided in 2006 to declare the establishment of a vassal state in Iraq, and the latter began to fight other resistance factions instead of fighting the American occupier!

Huge funding sources! Non-Iraqi soldiers, mostly Arab immigrants, are takfiris who revealed to themselves that fighting other resistance groups, which they consider to be infidels, is more their own than fighting the U.S. Army itself.

The media has never seen anyone else! They were all in the spotlight.

Ruslan did not understand what was going on! How did the one who was supposed to be a Comrade in Arms become one of our worst enemies? He has no purpose but to kill us. Where are their minds? Before us is an army of occupation, and these people deflect our guns and distract us from it?

A functional array, so his leader in the group told him, they have been programmed, they are a functional array, found to complete a specific job, supported by countries and entities. Thousands of takfiri fighters cross the border from Syria and Iran, pass through areas completely controlled by American and Iraqi forces, and reach the Anbar desert without control! And the goal is to fight us, they will fight us at our own kind, and we are all caught between the hammer of the U.S. Army and its agents and the pillars of functional regulation.

Even their operations against the Iraqi and American army are operations to cast ashes in people’s eyes, while they dismantled the social fabric through their operations in civilian markets, and their killing of the Iraqi people and making them fall into the arms of the American occupier to escape from them and their crimes.

It is all too easy to rally millions of people behind a clear-cut enemy that is not your religion, your country, or your race! But when the enemy is your own kind! It’s a completely different thing. The mind has a thousand reasons to convince you that you have to stop, or take sides with the group that the media focus on, have larger sources of funding, and your conscience is clear, or so your mind will convince you, and take you to the safer, more funded, more famous, less dangerous side of your life. Not to worry, you are not a traitor-this congregation is of the same intellectual, ideological, and nationalist-or at least so they claim.

These extremist functional groups have become the safest groups for their members! The Americans only pursue it through the media, and the soldiers of the rest of the groups are reluctant to fight them because they are Muslims in their view. The killing of the Muslim and the sharpening of gun is forbidden for them. While they committed killings in the rest of the groups, the infidels in their view.

These functional groups knew the truth about the sniper of Mesopotamia, without knowing his identity, and became a target for them. They wanted him dead. He is an apostate infidel in their eyes, and most importantly he is still causing media hype in the interest of other groups. Their icon must be killed, they must know his identity, who is among the members of the Ansar al-Iraq group.

Ruslan and Raman started fleeing from one place to another, not only from the occupying army, but from some of yesterday’s companions as well, who had no purpose and no preoccupation except killing every rebel fighter, not in their ranks, and not complying with them. The excuse is that victory over America will not come until after the elimination of all the infidel and apostates from the rest of the fighting factions and even the people as well.

Somehow, this approach found someone to listen to among the thousands of Iraqi and non-Iraqi fighters, through media campaigns that were promoting this group as the only group fighting the occupying army, and through its acquisition of very large sources of funding from unknown sources.

In 2008, no one knew how or where the sniper of Mesopotamia died, but with this false announcement, Raman was able to save his friend and stop the hunt. The sniper of Mesopotamia must die. They will not stop coming after you unless it is announced that you are dead.

The functional groups soon managed to end the existence of all the resistance factions, which were in control of cities and villages in Iraq that the US military dared not enter. Then, after completing this mission, they withdrew from all of them, to pass through the desert and enter a deep slumber that worries it only a few assassinations of the remains of the revolutionaries and the opponents of the financiers, which are depicted and presented in Hollywood versions under the name of the liquidation of the traitors.

With them, Ruslan and Raman entered a slumber of another kind, only disturbing his sleep, the thug, an American officer who pledged himself to get the sniper of Mesopotamia no matter what the cost, he did not believe the story of his death, he pursued him, for years, without being able to find him. During which Ruslan and Raman were lost again, like every other Iraqi, and lasted until 2011 when the wave of Arab Spring revolutions that started in Tunisia reached Syria and broke out.

Soon the peaceful Syrian revolution turned into an armed revolution as a result of the oppression, killing, and destruction that the Syrian regime headed by Bashar al-Assad brought against his own people. The Free Army, which was formed from various revolutionary groups splintered from the regime’s army, was formed by groups of rebels armed with light weapons, sometimes hunting rifles, and soon managed with popular support to control two-thirds of Syria entirely.

But the functional group rose from hibernation! Its focus shifted to nearby Syria, where he found a foothold, just like in Iraq, and soon again, he started fighting the Free Syrian Army and the Syrian resistance, deflected the gun, for the next seven years.

It immersed among Syrian revolutionary groups. With its huge funding, which amounts to hundreds of millions of dollars, and from which no one knows the source, it was able to buy arms and loyalties, and bring in thousands of radical takfiris around the world from all sides to join its ranks in Syria, and then instead of fighting the Syrian regime for the sake of the popular revolution, it fought the revolutionary factions themselves, the ones it claims to be coming to support.

Then, after it defeated its opponents from the Syrian revolutionaries, its opponents were in the nucleus of the Iraqi revolution in Mosul and Anbar, whose spark was igniting. It did not take long before it was defeated by the Iraqi government, then by the Kurdish militias backed by the United States in Syria, then by the Syrian regime, and receded from all the areas that it controlled from the hands of the revolutionaries, and falls into its slumber again.

In the midst of all this, the remnants of Ansar al-Iraq had made their way to Syria as well, and Ruslan and Raman had traveled with them, there they reorganized their ranks, focusing on staying away from any internal fighting, their goal is to fight the regime and defend the innocent.

Seven years they spent with a battalion of fighters in the Turkmen Mountains of Latakia countryside on the Idlib administrative border in northern Syria, a mountain range bordering Turkey that is native to Turkmen as well.

His name gleamed, the Turkmen fighter, was wounded many times, raiding in the snow nights to defend children in refugee camps only a few kilometers away from the clashes.

In Idlib, the last bastion of the Syrian revolution, the functional group continues to stifle the Syrian people’s remaining hopes for freedom.

Something’s going on around them! Incomprehensible but clear, Ruslan and Raman have been busy, looking for it for a long time, how can the followers of these organizations be so foolish, so stupid? How can they fight and weaken their fellow arms and hand over territory to their enemy without even feeling for a moment that their leaders are a group of traitors or lunatics? And they work for their enemy? It is often the case that members of these radical Islamist groups blow themselves up in Muslims, killing themselves and dozens of others! How were they programmed? Is it extreme? Or is there an invisible hand playing with them? They’re not normal humans, like a bunch of robots doing what they were programmed to do.

Ruslan swore that the matter is greater than extremism, there are those who have manipulated their minds, and programmed them. What made them so stupid? Manipulated by a group of traitors? The truth must not die with us! At least the part that we know of. We have to pass on our experience to the people. We have seen through the era of Iraq and what has happened. We have fought in Syria since the beginning of the revolution. We have witnessed what has happened. We, of the few who have lived through all these events, must pass on the truth to future generations; we must record our testimony.

Across social media networking sites, Raman has unleashed his media potential, like Hollywood stars in the revolutionary party, spreading their testimonies about the functional groups, what they really did, their massive and anonymous funding, their supply of thousands of anonymous fighters of different nationalities, and, more dangerously, their questions about who they are, their programming.

Their voices were heard by international media journalists. One of them started helping them with additional information, claiming to be a journalist! But he had so much information. He says he’s more than just a reporter.

They bravely continued their work, ignoring that one of these organizations was a few kilometers away from them.

On the sound of the guns, Ruslan woke up after midnight,

-It was not the regime army that attacked us, it was the functional organization, asking for our head, Raman said, carrying his weapon to confront the attackers.

This time I will fight them, my friend, this will not end, if we escape today, we are like those who hand over these mountains in full to the Syrian regime to brutalize their people with death and displacement! They have done it many times before, in Iraq and here. I have made the decision, not this time, I will not run, I will face.

Ruslan tried to stop his friend, they could not face them, they have tanks and cannons, and they are coming from behind our backs, but Raman is tired of running, “I will die defending today rather than live my remaining years on the run again, we have given all we have, running is no longer an option.”

They fought as they always did, side by side, never separated. A tank shell fell directly in front of them, with nothing between them but an earthen berm. The shrapnel flew, the darkness of the night blackened with its smoke, the smell of gunpowder clogged his nose, and a buzzing sound in his ears, he stretched out his hand to his friend’s side to feel him, calling him out at the top of his voice, and there was no answer.

The bullets were all around him like rain, another shell behind him not far away, he heard a voice groaning in pain, he picked him up and dragged him between the trees, their blood was mixed, don’t do it, Raman, do not say goodbye, not now my brother.

The brother, father, and friend closed his eyes, not even with a word of farewell.

The tears blinded him, not from his rifle, he carried it back screaming at the top of his voice, oh criminals, oh killers, he completed his battle and, along with the rest of the fighters with him, he managed to turn the functional group back on its heels. The Turkmen Mountains are still standing.

In the morning, he buried his friend, said good-bye to his companions, picked up the pain, carried his little bag, and headed towards the nearby border, decided to leave.

Walking among dozens of war-displaced persons, fleeing to Turkey, they crossed the border illegally, after reaching safety, in the Turkish border village of Yeladag. They all sat under trees next to a dirt road waiting for the cars of smugglers to take them to the nearby city of Antioch (Antakya) when they were surprised by a border guard car (Turkish gendarmerie) standing next to them.

People shivered in fear, but he kept looking at them coldly and indifferently.

The crying of the women began to rise, please do not send us back to the war, we have children, their crying outraged the shyness of silence.

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief; the soldiers were indifferent! Not all of them, one person they wanted from among them.

A man in civilian clothes, not from the Border Police, got out of the car, closer to the intelligence officers. He approached them and stood in front of one of them.

-Are you Ruslan?

-Yes

-You are the Turkmen?

-yes

-You are the hero of yesterday’s battle?

– No, I’m not a hero, I am just a kid looking for the Eid

{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[129

post-1182","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-zero-moment-english-online
["GET
